Grand Kids

Today Robyn went on a Field Trip with Sophie so I had Jared, Emily and Amberly. We made Play Dough and colored, watched a movie and had loads of fun. While Amberly and Emily and I were on the floor in the living room coloring, Emily said "Omi, I love you so much. My heart really loves your heart." Such a cute thing to say. I made Raman noodles for Amberly and Jared and a peanut butter and jam sandwich for Emily. She kept saying, "I love this jam...mmmmm it is soooo good". So I went downstairs and came back up with a brand new bottle behind my back. I handed it to her and told her it was hers. Her eyes lit up and she thanked me for the next 10 minutes while she was putting on her boots and leaving with her siblings and mom to go home. It was the cutest thing. I just adore all my grandkids so much.

Anniversary get-a-way

Juli and Arik when overnight for an early Anniversary get-a-way. Dave and I got to have these 3 cuties from Sunday until Monday and we had a blast. We watched movies, ate popcorn, played with toys and had fun with, ewwwww slime. They are so much fun and make me feel very loved. Cute Robyn came over on Monday with 4 of her little ones. When she picked up the twins I asked her to pick up kid meals for them all and they had a happy meal and a happy lunch. After Robyn picked up Jordan she let him visit with his cousins for a while and then took them all home. Thank you for the visit my Robyn. I appreciate all you do. Also, thank you to all of you for trusting me with your most prized possessions. I love them so much too. I feel soooo blessed and it's because of you!

Cloche

Jenni gave me the instructions for this hat so I made a size 3-6 months. I'll have to make all three sizes. This is just the cutest hat Jenni. Thank you for the instructions.

Simmons kids

I had the best time in Green River with Kaleb, Kaiya, and Katelin. We played kick-soccer in the backyard, walked to the park and played on the swings and slides, walked to Chow Hound and had ice cream cones, went home, walked to the store and bought treats. On Friday night we made it a marathon movie night and ate Opa's popcorn that he donated to our fun time and stayed up until we couldn't keep our eyes open. What a nice time. Saturday we cleaned up the living room after the kids slept on the floor, did hair and walked back to the store for more treats. At about 4:00 Jenni and Burke came home and brought all sorts of groceries in. It was such a fun time and I so much appreciate being asked to stay over night to watch my cute Simmons grandkids. I love you all so much and feel so blessed and loved in return. Thank you again.

Green River

Well, here I am in Green River. The train was supposed to pick me up at 3:30 a.m. I was at the Train Station at 2:45 a.m. and when I got there they said the train would be late. We finally left at 5:00 a.m. I got here at 9:30 a.m. instead of 8:00 a.m. Cute little Jenni let me sleep for a while and then we went to the Thrift store to drop off some stuff, then to the grocery store, then the service station and then turned around and went to all of them again because I lost my glasses. They weren't at any of those places. I just hung my head down being saddened at the whole experience when I saw my glasses hanging from the passenger seat. So weird. We had pizza from the Chow Hound and watched Mega Mind as a family. We had such a nice time. We also picked up Kaleb and Kaiya from school and that was fun. Jenni is so cute and introduces me to everyone. Makes me feel loved. Anyway, more later. I am just having a wonderful time already. Jenni and Burke are leaving for Grand Junction tomorrow to celebrate their Anniversary. FUN!!!
