Priesthood Session night with kids, 3 moms and an Omi....well and an Opa in the other room. We made mini pizzas that the kids put together themselves. They watched "Hop"and "Chip-wrecked" and played a lot together being happy kids. Boston loved pushing the button on the music clock. He smiles and sings after he pushes the button. We also had Friday night dinner with a birthday cake for Ryan G and Fisher. Ryan G and his family came plus Tricia and Jeff, Robyn and Steve and kids and that was it. We had spaghetti, corn, strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe and lots of cake and ice cream. For some reason my muscles are hurting in my "hinton" but it's a good hurt.

These pictures are all during the Priesthood Session. Makes you wonder what Reagan's thinking, huh? Such cuties!

Makes you wonder what Oakley's thinking, huh? Still such cuties!

After Danielle saw a picture of the owl I made for babies, she asked if I could make one for a 16 year old girl so here it is. I hope the mom that works with Danielle who is planning on buying it, likes it. It's been a fun and busy week. I am soooo thankful for Conference. I loved todays session so much. Really a Spiritual Saturday Session.

Hayden

Jennie (Baker) Walker lives across the street. I gave her a hat and she promised me to dress her little girl up and have her wear the hat so I can take a picture of her. Her little boy (Vinnie) and some new cute little girls that moved into our circle along with their brother and mom and dad, came over yesterday. They knocked on the door and asked for candy since I gave them some the other day. So cute!!! I also gave them one of those little plastic snakes that move so funny. They loved them. Jennie Walker came over to check on her son and I had her come in so I could try some other hats on her Hayden and here they are. She's 10 months old and so ready with a smile. She's just adorable. You can't help loving her right off. The button on the first hat is so cute. It has polka dots on it the color of the hat plus a few others.

Brown Owl Hat

Here's another hat that I'm making for Jenni and Erin. As I said in the previous blog, Jenni gave me a link for the hat instructions and it's really fun. The pattern asks for brown yarn for the hat, more of a lime green I think for the eyes with white, plus an orange nose so I bought those colors today. Cute, huh>?

Pink Owl Hat

Jenni sent me a link to instructions to make an owl beanie. I had a lot of pink so I decided to practice first. Turned out pretty cute. I sent a text message/picture to Erin and she loved it so I'm giving it to her to give a new baby girl. I'm starting to make two more in brown for Jenni and Erin. I love to crochet. I'm so happy I found something that I really love to do at this time of my life. It's really fun being home with my Dave but still doing things that others like. Really makes me happy!!!

Juicing

I go to the Hansen's house mostly once a week sometimes 2 but not often. Here are a couple of pictures. I love going there. Suzanne is in a wheelchair but she is always cheerful and a just all around cutie. I love her and her husband so much. I think going there is more for me than for them. I feel blessed every time I go there and feel uplifted when I leave. Such wonderful people.

On Wings of Faith (finished)

Well, I finished the book. I'm so thankful I was able to borrow it. It really opened my eyes even more to what my family went through. Another person that was mentioned was Brother Walter Stover. He gave Mamma and Pappa both jobs at his factory. We lived right next to the factory and they both just could walk to their jobs in the mornings. Brother Stover did so many wonderful things for the Germans, being a German himself. He was a sponsor for many so they could come to America. What a great man. Pappa didn't care for him much BUT that's probably because he really liked Mamma and he was pretty rich. Mamma told me once that when she quit and got a job at Guild, Inc. Brother Stover and Mamma both cried. So sweet. Anyway, I need to look this book up on Amazon.com and see if I can purchase it. It's a keeper.
