I have really had fun on Pinterest. I found the instructions for a cute little newborn bear hat. So much fun to make and the finished product, I think, is adorable.

THEN, I found a new way to make flowers. This flower is just so pretty and it was so fast to make and fun. The next picture will show you what it looks like before you put it together.

Now is that neat??? I love it. You make this long curly crocheted strip and then sew it into a circle. I love making these.

I also found paper and cloth flowers I would like to make. Also cute cute wreaths. Can't wait.

Dinner

Dave and I went to Applebee's the other night because we hadn't had a date forever. They took FOREVER to get Dave a salad. We were disappointed about that and then to top it off, the dinner was not that great AND it cost $40. We were sad but what do you do? Applebee's has never been a favorite of mine anyway now maybe we'll not go at all. OK with me. At least we were together and to prove it I have pictures. What a sweetie.


I saw a cute diaper cover on Pinterest but without directions of course so I decided to make it up. I gave it to Jenni to use when she takes pictures of new babies. I also made a beanie to go a long with it which I forgot to take a picture of. I hope they both fit. I'll have to find a doll or new baby to try them on. Let me know if they fit, OK?

Kalebs Birthday Party

Kaleb's birthday party was at Ryan and Erin's house. It was soooo much fun.Dave was only able to get a few pictures and a couple of videos of Kaleb's party before his battery ran out.


This video is of Kaleb opening gifts and explaining to Omi what he got with his money from Omi and Opa. He's really an adorable little boy. Always watching out for others with a big smile on his face.

Good that not a lot of people look at this blog because I really messed this one up. It's OK though because the pictures are what counts and they are great!!!

Our wall with Family pictures. Jenni and Burke gave me the big frame that says "Love" in the middle for my birthday. Tricia and Jeff gave us the picture of her family last year and Stephanie and Brian gave us their picture for Christmas this year. Cute, eh?









Kaiya got Baptized on January 21, 2012 and here are a few pictures of Quentin, Kaleb and Riley on the way there. Gotta love these silly but very handsome little boys. Did I get a picture of the starring attraction, Kaiya, of course not. Silly me!

















It was Jared's birthday on the 4th of January and here are a few of his pictures. Opa is putting together his scooter we got him. Don't you just love little Jared's facial expression?

My sweet Sister Estevez and her companion. Love them both!!! They visited me for Christmas. Dave took pictures of our children and grandchildren when they visited us for Christmas. Kylie and Sadie were in the Production of Annie at Olympus High School. Dave and I were able to go and absolutely LOVED IT!!! Here are pictures of them plus one of the scenes. Now we can say "we knew them when....!"
Last but not least, Opa and his best friend Sally!!! I think they really love each other.

Christmas Lunch at Archibald's

Today 10 of us who were friends in High School were supposed to go to lunch. Two weren't able to make it but the rest of us had a great time. I decided to have us all stretch ourselves into doing daring things like wearing huge earrings that I gave everyone and gloves that go up your arm. We all laughed and had a great time. Here are pictures of all of us. I took the pictures except for the one I'm in of course. The waitress took that one and it turned out pretty blurry. Still a fun memories.

"The Ten Virgins"

Juli tried out to be in the Play "The Ten Virgins" and she got the part, of course. AND, what a great job she did. Juli, you could totally be on Broadway. Your part was so believable and so breath taking, I was just crying. Also, Juli could totally have lived back then. She looks so pretty in her costume. I brought my camera but, thanks to Robyn, the video turned out great. You did such a great job my Robyn! Thanks again.
Juli came and sat with us for awhile before the play started. We stood in line for I while to get fruit and rolls etc BUT the line went on forever so we decided to forget it and just sat down again.

On the program it read that Juli's name was Nava, A Woman Who Diligently Prepares. On the wall they put a slide of the woman whose turn it was to sing and under their picture was the name of her song. Juli's said "Beautiful" which explains her to the "T". Love you Juli and thank you so much for trying out!

Lunch with Johnny and Valoy

Cute Johnny designed this Tee Shirt and wore it today. Johnny is so sweet. I LOVE THIS TEE SHIRT!!! Really a darling way to say thank you to Jeremy. Johnny was so proud of it. He told me about it on the phone and said he was going to wear it today. I love them so much!
We went to lunch at Dave's favorite place, Sizzler's. We had such a nice time. The four of us have the best times together. When we got home I had them look at the book Robyn put together for us with everyone's comments and letters. I love that book and it was fun to share it with them.
