Jeremy

All my girls put the picture Ryan drew of Jeremy on their blog so I decided to do the same. It's been a really difficult last few days. I thought after 15 years missing Jeremy would get easier but it never does. I miss his smile, his concern about me, his hugs and his silly kisses. I miss his smell and all the kindnesses he always showed me. No matter what age he was or what friends were with him, he always gave me a hug and a kiss and an "I love you Mom" when he left. I'm proud to be your mom, my Jeremy and I will miss you for the rest of my life.

My dentist appointment

I went to the Dentist today and got my teeth cleaned. This is, oops-forgot her name but she X-rayed my teeth.

This is Connie who cleaned my teeth.I was laying on the chair so this is a picture that I was not going to post but I don't know how to delete it so there you are. I made the picture small so my feet wouldn't look so big. Anyway, that's what I saw when I was laying there. I also saw these instruments.
This is Dr. Rigby with mask.
This is Dr. Rigby without a mask. He's a nice guy and does a really good job. This is Brent and Jamie at the desk. They are such nice people. I especially just adore little Jamie. A BIG thanks to Dr. Rigby's office for everyone being extra nice and letting me take pictures of them. I love going there. They really are my friends.

Cousin Bill

Dave's cousin Bill Epple came to stay with us while he attended a Melaluca Conference in the city. We love having him here and missed having his wife, Joyce, here with him this year. Here he is with Dave's mom, Phyllis.

A lady outside of Chuck-O-Rama was nice enough to take pictures of us after dinner. Starting from left to right there's Phyllis, Rick and LeAnn, Bill, Ruth and Dave.
Here we are again!
We had a really nice time except no one laughed at my jokes. THAT was really embarrassing!

Fishing

Opa, Jordan, Ryan G. and Cannon went fishing today. Both Cannon and Jordan caught 3 fish and put them back. Opa took pictures of Jordan and Ryan G. took pictures of Cannon so we don't have any of Cannon to put on our blog. But here's a happy Jordan after he caught fish after fish. Go Jordan!

Sunday with Opa

Tiffany, Riley and Reagan came to visit on Sunday. The kids went in to say hi to Opa. Riley loves to take pictures so here is the one he took of Opa. Cute Opa smile! Now Opa is taking a picture of himself and Riley. Riley looks so cute with his curly blond hair and striking big brown eyes.
Now Opa is taking a picture of REAGAN. I closed my eyes so I'm not really there. "Don't take a picture of me Opa! ugh"
Tiffany was getting Riley's pajamas on but as his shirt was being taken off he ran to Opa and showed him his new look. Wish I knew what he was saying!
Opa took a really, really closeup picture of Reagan. If you've never seen her cute little nostrils, well there you go! She's got the biggest, bluest eyes. What gorgeous kids! It was a fun few hours with Tiffany and her little ones.

Hildi's Gifts

Today was very, very s-l-o-wwwww!!! BUT that has it's upsides too. I was able to read in "Breaking Dawn". It is so good. I also was able to take pictures of a few people that work by us. So let me introduce you:

This is Dee who works at the Sun Tanning Salon. She is a short little cutie with two kids and a nice husband whom she adores. She's also a Veternarian Assistant. They have horses and dogs and I don't remember what else. She's adorable.

This is Ashley and Diane's daughter Chanel. Diane owns "No Limit" and these two darling girls work there.
Here they are again guarding the store. It was slow everywhere today I guess.
Here's poor little Don Halladay, Hildi's husband who has lost 25 lbs after his knee surgery. He did not have a heavy knee just a lot of complications.
He went up to Skull Valley to shoot his gun and came to Tooele to say Hi to me and to rest a minute. He looked so worn out when he walked in but it was nice of him to surprise me.

Anyway, just wanted you to meet a few of the people that work around Hildi's store. They are all nice people!

Long Day

Hildi said I could leave at 5:00 p.m. today so I could go to Famous Dave's at 6:00 p.m. for Dave's Birthday dinner with his kids. Well, once I was almost there, I got this horrible feeling like I didn't lock the store up. I decided to call No Limit (the store next door) to ask them to check on the store. Of course I couldn't find my phone and finally realized that I must have left that at the store too. Once I got to the restaurant I used Dave's phone to call No Limit and they verified that the store was left open. So I jumped out of my chair at the restaurant and headed back to Tooele. I locked the door, thanked the girls that watched the store for me and headed home again. I decided to start taking pictures which, I was hoping, would make the time pass by fast. So here they are:
Slow yellow truck going 40 miles per hour in a 60 mph, WHY??????See 40 mph. Ugh!!!This is a train. If you squint you might be able to see Saltair in the background.
Here are more obstacles to make me go slow. Can you tell I'm tired? Anyway, I guess you can tell I made it home! so glad. Long, long day!

Kitchen Duty

Well, I had the opportunity to work in the kitchen for one of our Home Teachers wedding receptions. My friends, Marion, Polly and Kaye worked in the kitchen with me along with some of the brides friends. They had their reception at the church and it was really pretty. Since they were in their early 30's, I'm not sure if they paid for it themselves or if they had help from their parents but they did really well at keeping the costs down. They had a 3 tier wedding cake which was really rice crispy treats with navy blue ribbon around each tier and fresh flowers. It was cleverly done. They were starting to cut it when Kaye and I left about 9:30. I thought the line would never end.We ended up having to wash and dry some of the throw away dishes because we were running out. I was going to take pictures but we were so busy, I forgot.

Night Out

Well, we all went to Sizzler's tonight and visited for 1 1/2 hours. Wendy was in town from Vernal so they all decided to get together for dinner. LeAnn and I pulled out our cameras and showed grandchildren pictures. I wish I could have brought all my grandkids instead and said "see, cute huh?" but it would have been a little crowded.
Here's Ann and Bruce and my Dave! I asked everyone to smile and there you go!!! You should see Dave when he's serious!
Here's Rick, LeAnn, Wendy and Phyllis. They are all fun.

Cute family.

I wasn't going to add these pictures to our blog but I just had to. So here's the new painted room accessorized!
